It is often said that English is an essential language in many ways. Some might argue that English would not be worldwide language more than now due to other language, the Chinese. Nevertheless, from my point of view, I am in favor of the idea that English would be required to study, and then it will be the main language all over the world.
To begin with, it is English that is being acquired by people. To tell the truth, many students begin to study English when they are in elementary school, and then they have been studying it since they are in that period. In addition, English is an essential subject for students to master. A recent study conducted by the Ministry of the Education in 2008 shows that a great number of institutions and school tend to change it into a second language, which is required to study to get credits, and then many school are likely to have more English classes in timetable than in the past. Thus, English is regarded as a second language that is necessary to master. In this sense, English is becoming more important subject than in the past and is required to master to be successful in the future.
Not only that, but it is a helpful language in terms of being able to get a job more easily. As a matter of fact, a large number of company suggest that people who try to be taken a job from them should have experiences related to English, and then they have to write down them in their resume. Besides, it is common sense that having experiences concerned with English, like traveling all around the world, is better option. To illustrate this point, TOEIC, which is the test to prove their English proficiencies, is one of the most critical fields in looking for jobs. In recent years, lot of people struggled to get a high score in this test due to these reasons that I mentioned before. Moreover, lots of top-notch and well-known corporation, such as Microsoft, Apple and Coca-cola, have a tendency to make it a rule to use English as an official language. In this regard, English is a useful factor, in that people who mastered it are beneficial to find works.
All in all, English plays a pivotal role in many things. One is necessary and requiring fields, that is to say, it is considered a second language; the other is beneficial fields in terms of usefulness in finding jobs. Furthermore, it is English that would be remained as an official language in competitive global market.

The The Day After Tomorrow
The day After Tomorrow is the movie that describes a happening natural disaster. This movie, directed by Roland Eerily and the main character is Jake and Danice, father and son, and then portrays a real natural disaster. It also indicates that we all have to take it so hard, and then it may be a good role model in preparing for future. In addition, NY, New York, is being set as a background in this movie, meaning that this city would be in the sink in a few decades. As this city has lots of snow, rain, hail, storm and tornado, it is becoming in the sink. Since citizens are aware of these facts, they struggle to survive in these hazardous circumstances. I recommend that everyone go out and see this movie.
This movie is a story related to natural phenomenon, takes a lot of special effects to make viewers understand easily. It gives me lots of instruction, and then has lot of meaningful thing, like global warming and greenhouse effect. I like this movie so much in terms of being able to accept the fact that natural disasters in this point should be regarded as a serious environmental problem, and then we have to take care of them carefully. From that perspective, this movie ends with giving instructive theme. Furthermore, I want to claim that hazards in this movie are the most remarkable environmental issues all over the world.

Compare my hometown to Seattle(Contrast)
Seattle is a different city from my hometown in many ways. Of course, there might be some similarities to my hometown, like entertainment, restaurant and so on. From my perspectives, the difference is far outweigh the similarities; environment, weather and pollution.
To begin with, environment is entirely different in many ways. In general, people have their own condition to adjust to their environment, and then it leads to their satisfaction. To illustrate this point, people who live in this city seem not to be busy all the time, while those who live in my hometown are always busy and live busy lives. In addition to this, people who live in this city feel peaceful in living their lives in this city and feel relaxed while, those who live in my hometown rarely feel calm and comfortable. Furthermore, it is common that people do not have enough break time to take some rests in my country; on the other hand, those who live in the city have their break term especially on weekend. In this context, environment in this city is certainly different from that in my country.
Moreover, weather is one of the most remarkable factors in this city. Generally speaking, all countries have their own climate, and then it is a factor in determining many things, such as food, living and so on. For instance, when I came to this city, it was rainy a lot. Sometimes, it was sunny, cold and cool. That is to say, the weather in this city changes a lot. People who live in this city always say that it takes shower too often, and then it tends to be changed into being cold. As time passed, it has changeable weather, such as it is raining in the morning but it changes into being sunny in the afternoon, and then it rains a lot in cold weather. According to a forecast reported by ABC news in 2007, it has been raining a lot, and then the amount of rain is becoming increase. It is said that it takes shower very often in this city. Unlike this city, my hometown has a mild climate. To exemplify, it is sunny and hot in summer and it is cold in winter. In this sense, weather is differentiating factor in representing this city in terms of having lots of rain regardless of season.
Finally, pollution is an indispensable feature. To tell the truth, problems related to pollution, such as air pollution and water pollution are being considered seriously. This city is commonly called evergreen, in that it has fresh air a lot, and then it refreshes our life. This is largely because people have a tendency not to drive their car too often. On the contrary, my hometown always goes through some smog. Since they drive their car very often and the amount of gas emission is increasing, it probably leads to air pollution. In this regard, it is a pollution that it determines the city, and then it is being regarded as a critical factor.

Holiday
What is your favorite holiday in your country? Sometimes, it is difficult to tell about my favorite holiday in my country. Of course, there are other holidays, like Thanksgiving day, Children`s day, Nation`s day and so on. From my perspectives, I would choose the New Year`s day as my favorite holiday in my country for the following two reasons; having family gathering and eating delicious foods.
To begin with, people usually meet their family in this day. Generally speaking, it is the day that people meet their grandparents, relatives, and then they say hello to each other. A study conducted by the Minister Of Family in 2007 shows that more than half of people meet their family twice or three times in year due to the fact that it is original day that is supposed to do that. To illustrate this point, when it is the day, people usually go to their hometown through highway by driving car, and then they get to meet their family to say hello to each other. In this context, the New Year`s day offers an opportunity to meet family to say hello.
In addition, we originally get to try some delicious foods. To tell the truth, there are traditional food which represents our ancestor`s wisdom to their descendant. Many experts claim that when people meet their family each other, they naturally get to eat some delicious food. Furthermore, by eating tasty foods together, they have a quality time with each other. People who do this way agree with the above statement. In this regard, trying tasty food provide chance to have a great time with each other to people.

My Favorite place at UW
Of all the buildings that I went on campus, my favorite is the HUB. THE HUB is Student Union Building which is place for students. It has a wide range of facilities, such as meeting rooms, computers, cafeteria and information desk.
In upper floor, there are many rooms for meeting. Students usually get together at this place. Many parties, like Halloween Party are also opened to students in this room.
In the first floor, which is like lobby, there are the information desk, cafés and computers. When I need some information about school, transportation and other things, I can get advice from the desk. I can also do research through the Internet.
In underground floor, there are cafeterias. These cafeterias provide a variety of foods to students. I can see some students having a great time with their friends, and having meals. Then it gives great opportunities to have a quality time with friends and feel closer each other.
All in all, HUB is one of the most remarkable buildings in this campus.Furthermore, it is recommendable place for visitors to experience

The most unforgettable trip
Although I have been to many countries, I woud tell about a trip to the U.S
In fact, I have been to the San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, but I have never been to the Seattle, WA.
However, it was quite different from a feeling of traveling.
Since it was the forst time to go abroad to study, I was extremely worried about many things.
On being in flight to Seattle, I was worrying if I will be able to achieve goals that I have dreamed of, live by myself and do other things without parent`s help.
Having to be away from my parents was also what I worried.
When I arrived in this country, I felt little embarrassed in the airport at first, so I could not see anything.
Also I could not eat anything more than do in my country.
Finally, I was getting over thanks to cheer me up among people around my apartment.
They said that keeping calm down is very important in any situations.
I think it is the best way to calm down when I feel embarrassed.
Therefore, traveling to the U.S is unforgettable memories in my lifetime.
